Here it is, folks! Your second original Street Fighter V character makes her way to the fray. Laura is a strikingly beautiful woman that perfectly personifies Brazil from her appearance. From the wrists bands, to the green and yellow attire, even the cool hair. You get a real taste of who the character is. In addition, her whole electric theme is quite awesome because it captures the infectious sounds of Brazil, from Capoeira to Samba, you can feel the electricity in the air and in her moves.
Although she may be all those things wrapped into one, she's quite the formidable opponent. With combinations of Capoeira and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, her moveset is familiar like Elena from Street Fighter III, yet unique because we have never seen a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter.
Her normals seems to have great range and good recovery, they can be used for poking tactics. Her special moves are striking moves and command grabs when used in combination with her projectile, she can be quite devastating. She joins the ranks of grapplers like R. Mika and Zangief, but surely a different breed.
P.S. She's the brother of Sean Matsuda from Street Fighter III. Awesome, I know.
